Hand holding the Champions Way magnet in front of the real Champions Way street sign in Manhattan

Impreso.nyc × The Championship Parade

Broadway,
renamed.

For the parade, the city gave Lower Broadway a new name. Millions filled the Canyon of Heroes, the confetti came down, and for one afternoon every sign on the route read Champions Way. Now it's a magnet.

The Moment

The day the street
got a new name.

June 18, 2026. The route ran from Battery Park up Broadway to City Hall — the Canyon of Heroes, hosting its first Knicks parade in 53 years. Before the floats rolled, city workers went pole to pole hanging new signs: Champions Way.

The city's signs were temporary. Ours isn't. This is the piece that marks how the run ended — told in the other language New York speaks: a street sign.
